Framework is a specialist charity providing housing, support, training, care, resettlement and employment for thousands of homeless and vulnerable people each year in the East Midlands and parts of South Yorkshire. For a homeless person, getting a secure roof over their head is a crucial first step –finding somewhere that is safe, dry and warm. However, to tackle homelessness effectively it is not sufficient simply to put a roof over someone’s head, and our work does not stop there. The underlying economic, social, medical and emotional circumstances which contributed to an individual’s situation must also be addressed: we passionately believe that having someone who cares and can offer appropriate support is equally important in helping people on the journey from homelessness to independent living.

No Lean Season reduces the negative effects of seasonality on the poorest in rural agricultural areas by enabling labor mobility that increases incomes. It is a new program that they are testing in Evidence Action Beta&s;s portfolio, based on rigorous experimental evidence. They give a travel subsidy of $20 to very poor rural laborers so they can send a family member to a nearby city to find a job during the period between planting and harvesting. This is the time in rural areas when there are no jobs, no income, and when families miss meals. This seasonal poverty affects 600 million people around the world. With a temporary job during this &s;lean season,&s; households are are able to put an additional meal on the table for every member of the family each and every day. That’s 500 additional meals during the lean season.

They are a socially conscious energy broker. They provide power and natural gas to homes and businesses, allowing you to turn a grudge purchase into a benefit for the community. No extra cost. It’s really that simple. Let’s face it none of us get excited about paying their electricity and natural gas bills, so they asked theirselves, what if they could change that? What if they could create a better model, one that kept prices low, terms fair and allowed for 50% of their profits to go to a wide variety of charities who make a difference in peoples lives? They share 50% of their profits on each customer’s electricity and natural gas usage to the Community Partner of their choice. Their green energy program allows you to convert your electricity to energy sourced from renewable assets. Whether you are a commercial or a residential customer, it is important to us to keep their rates low and their service exceptional.

FitCause is a marketing tool that empowers consumers as participants in the corporate giving ecosystem. Our platform acts as a conduit between corporations and charitable organizations by developing campaigns that quantify fitness data in fitness apps, and linking these accomplishments to corporate donations. Using fitness applications and activity trackers, participants contribute their activity (miles, steps, exercises, etc.) to campaigns and unlock corporate donations as they achieve milestones. These milestones are celebrated, prompting participants to share via social channels as they selflessly become brand ambassadors by engaging in already planned activities. Corporations are making significant, yearly financial commitments to non-profit organizations. They are also looking for organic methods of marketing to active consumers. Active consumers are already using fitness apps. FitCause frictionlessly adds incentive for them to push their personal goals even further. It&s;s the perfect ecosystem for corporations, non-profit organizations and consumers.

The Blue Card was established by the Jewish community in Germany in 1934, to help Jews already being affected by Nazi restrictions through loss of jobs, forcibly closed businesses and other forms of oppression. In 1939, The Blue Card was reestablished in the United States to continue aiding refugees of Nazi persecution resettling in America. After the Holocaust, the mission of the organization was expanded to help survivors of the Shoah from all European countries. The Blue Card continues its work in the United States to this day, providing: -financial assistance, on a monthly basis as well as for emergencies, such as medical and dental care -week-long vacations in a rural setting -special holiday grants -health precautionary services that permit survivors to live with dignity in their own homes As the number of survivors still alive declines, their needs for financial assistance increase. The Blue Card is the only national organization in the United States whose sole mission is to help needy Holocaust survivors. Since its inception, The Blue Card has provided financial resources that improve the daily lives of needy Shoah victims and lead to a more secure future. The organization&s;s name derives from the original blue paper cards that were issued to the Jewish donors who worked to raise funds for individuals who had lost their jobs. Each time a donation was made, a stamp was put on the card to keep a record.

Fred and Marian Pfister Anschutz created the Anschutz Family Foundation in 1982 as a result of many years of successful gas and oil, real estate and ranching ventures. Fred B. Anschutz&s;s (1909-1993) career was characterized by uncanny and intuitive foresight and by a willingness to enter into ventures others considered too risky. His first business success came through striking a rich oil field in his home state of Kansas. Earnings from an oil exploration business that eventually spanned Kansas, Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming were parlayed into ranches and livestock operations across the West. The family and their business headquarters moved from Wichita to Denver in the 1960&s;s. Marian P. Anschutz (1910-1986) with husband, Fred, ingrained traditional American values of hard work, community involvement and love of the land in their children and grandchildren. Sue Anschutz-Rodgers has continued her parents&s; legacy through her own business and ranching ventures and commitment to philanthropy. The Foundation&s;s assets have grown over its 34 year history from the original $4.5 million endowment to $56.4 million through investments and additional family contributions. Sue served as the Foundation&s;s first President and Executive Director and currently serves as its Chair and President. Four of the founders&s; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren serve as trustees of the Foundation, while granddaughter Susan Rodgers Drumm served as program officer from 1994-2001. Since its inception, the Foundation has distributed 8,671 grants to nonprofit organizations for a total of $50,183,941. The Foundation&s;s focus on supporting organizations that meet human and community needs in Colorado has remained steady throughout its existence. In the early years, the Foundation funded fewer organizations with larger grants. Gradually, the philosophy shifted to providing smaller grants ($2,500-$10,000) to many organizations. The intent was to spread the Foundation&s;s resources into more areas and to encourage nonprofits to develop diversified funding streams. Although the primary activity of the Foundation is grant making, considerable energy has and will be directed to efforts to build the capacity of Colorado&s;s nonprofit sector, to enhance grant making, and to work collaboratively with other funders. In the early 1990&s;s, the Foundation partnered with the Community Resource Center to orchestrate Colorado Rural Philanthropy Days, a twice-yearly event that built on an initiative of the nonprofit community in Mesa County. Sue&s;s vision in launching this event, which is still going strong today, was to increase foundation support to rural areas of the state. The intent is for private and public funders, who are concentrated in the Front Range, to visit Colorado&s;s rural communities to gain a greater understanding of the issues and challenges faced in those communities and to facilitate introductions between metro-based funders and Colorado&s;s rural nonprofit leaders and local elected officials. Colorado Rural Philanthropy Days address two of the Foundation&s;s goals: to increase funding to nonprofit organizations in rural Colorado and to demystify the grant-making process. The Foundation plans to continue on its current path of embracing opportunities that enhance the nonprofit sector and focusing on organizations that strengthen families and communities and assist people to help themselves.

philanthropy made easy: an all-in-one platform that helps donors find reliable and tax-deductible nonprofits giveback is a tech enabled platform bringing guidance and efficiency to the philanthropic world. we empower donors and wealth managers to build a giving back strategy for their high-net-worth clients, offering a platform where they can view, track, and increase clients&s; donations, helping them find reliable and tax-deductible nonprofit organizations in the U.S., creating a diversified giving portfolio. philanthropy gets U$471Bi annually in donations, yet its management is a black box - the technology used is usually no more sophisticated than spreadsheets and email. There is no tech-enabled solution to help donors and wealth managers to include charitable giving in financial planning, manage giving portfolios efficiently, or find reliable and trustworthy nonprofits that act on the causes donors care about the most. we believe that giving should be more efficient. efficient in the way that donors can find trustworthy nonprofits that support the causes that they care about the most but also thinking about tax efficiency, on how can you vote with your dollars, not only as a consumer and/or as an investor but also as a philanthropist, building a “giving back strategy” that aligns with the donors&s; values with their impact goals.

It all began when Andrew was born again at just eight years old. Although he avoided the rebellious phase often associated with adolescence, he believed that through his own righteousness, he could develop a relationship with the Lord. But then, on a Saturday night in 1968, everything changed. Andrew realized he had fallen into the bondage of legalism and began confessing his self-righteousness, expecting the wrath of God to fall. Instead of wrath, however, God’s presence flooded him with love. “God’s love consumed me,” he says. “When I was at my worst, God’s love was the strongest.” This encounter changed his life forever and motivated him to follow God’s leading in his life. He decided to leave college, even though that meant losing his student deferment. Drafted into the Army and shipped to Vietnam, he served as a chaplain’s assistant. Despite how difficult and dangerous things were on the front lines, God used that time to ground Andrew in His Word and begin establishing the course of his life.

In 2012, Trust Women was launched. The Community Dental Access Centre (CDAC) is a reduced-cost non-profit charity dental centre located in Vernon, British Columbia. For many low-income residents in Canada access to basic dental care is not a reality. There is no universal dental coverage for those without the means to pay for dental care. The need for dental care for low-income people in the North Okanagan is great. We see individuals that have severe dental pain and/or abscessed teeth. We do our best to help them deal with their dental infection. Mission Statement To operate a non-profit health centre for North Okanagan residents experiencing financial and other barriers to dental health care. Vision Our vision is a community where barriers to accessing dental health care are reduced and quality of life is improved. The Community Dental Access Centre (CDAC) is a non-profit low-cost dental clinic which provides basic restorative and hygiene services to low-income people in the North Okanagan. The Community Dental Access Society is governed by a board of directors. In April 2011, the Society became a Registered Charity. Fee reductions depend on the patient’s income and/or government dental plan coverage rates. Programs Emergency Dental Care The staff and volunteers at the Centre will see as many individuals in urgent need as they can. If it is not possible to see a client in urgent need the Centre may refer you to one of our outreach dentists in the community. If you are in severe pain or have swelling seek immediate medical attention. You may require antibiotics or other critical care. Oral Health Restoration The Centre provides basic restorative care. This includes silver and white fillings and partial dentures. Dental Education and Prevention Regular dental cleaning helps us keep our natural teeth longer by keeping the gums &a; bones around our teeth healthy. We will work with you to improve your gum health one step at a time. Ask us how we can help you. Volunteer Care Team Volunteers work along with staff to provide you with quality care.

The Guinness Partnership exists to improve people&s;s lives and create opportunities for them. By providing as many high-quality homes as possible, they accomplish this. They also provide housing and care services to their customers. Their description of us is an organization providing customer service, since it&s;s our customers who are here. The people we provide homes to today - their tenants and leaseholders - as well as the people they provide care and support services to today. Additionally, it refers to their future customers. The company operates in 125 local authority areas across England. The majority of their houses are for rent at prices that are significantly lower than those in the private market. Moreover, the tenancy terms are far more secure. Additionally, they provide affordable homeownership options and homes that can be purchased outright on the open market, recognizing that the shortage of housing in the country affects those looking to buy a home. The housing they offer is affordable and meets a variety of needs, and profits they make from outright sales are used to build more affordable housing. The organization&s;s programs are tailored towards the elderly. Housing for older people as well as care at home services for those who wish to remain in their own homes are among these services. There is an increase in demand for these services as the population ages. Due to their wide range of housing and services, their customer base is becoming increasingly diverse. In order to meet these needs, they must provide services in a way that makes sense - and provide the right homes and services - recognizing that expectations are changing all the time, and the ways in which technology allows them to respond in 2023 will likely be very different. Homes and services provided by housing associations are in high demand, and the work they do is important. To serve as many people as possible, they want to do everything they can to meet that demand.

Our vision is a world where women have equal opportunities and the capability, confidence and capital necessary to establish and grow businesses, resulting in a brighter future for the women themselves and their communities as a whole. Women who are financially independent have greater control over their own and their children’s lives. Economic security gives women a more influential voice in tackling injustice and discrimination in their communities and wider society. Yet women entrepreneurs around the world still lack the business skills, technology, networks and access to capital they need to be successful in the long term. The Foundation provides support in these four key areas so that women can grow their businesses and create employment opportunities. Working in partnership with organisations on the ground, the Foundation develops programmes that build confidence, capability and capital in women. Given that women tend to invest 90% of their income back into their families, investing in women isn’t just good ethics, it’s sound economics.

In 1969, Judge Elizabeth Bass Golding of the Nassau County Family Court founded Hope For Youth to create a group home program for adolescent boys. Judge Golding envisioned a community based alternative for emotionally disturbed Nassau County youth placed in residential treatment centers, but capable of living in the community with appropriate supports. Hope For Youth opened its first boy’s group home in Bellmore in 1970 and subsequently received local, state and national recognition for demonstrating the viability of the group home model for youth. Today, Hope For Youth operates an array of services for children, youth and families, which span a continuum of care from out-patient clinical and preventive services to foster care, diagnostic and emergency services and other residential programs including our original therapeutic group home program. We serve children as young as six months of age through age twenty-one and families from across the Long Island region. With seven residential facilities, over fifty foster homes, and 130 staff, Hope For Youth has grown into one of Long Island’s pre-eminent providers of children and family services.

NAF is a membership supported, nonprofit organization established in1957 to help persons with ataxia and their families. The Foundation&s;s primary purpose is to support promising ataxia research and to provide vital programs and services for ataxia families. In 1978 the Foundation first began direct funding of ataxia research through the NAF Research "Seed-Money" Program. Since that time, the Foundation has established additional research programs which have included programs such as the NAF Young Investigator Award, the NAF Fellowship Award and other research initiatives. NAF research programs continue to fund promising ataxia research studies throughout the world. The Foundation supports research in dominant ataxia (including SCAs), recessive ataxia (including Friedreich&s;s) and sporadic ataxia. The Foundation has developed an extensive library of NAF brochures, fact sheets, books, and videos on ataxia. Also available to its members is the Foundation&s;s quarterly news publication, "Generations". This 48 page ataxia news magazine provides the latest information on ataxia research, articles on living with ataxia, personal accounts from ataxia families throughout the United States, and much more. The Foundation offers a Resource List of neurologists in your area and provides Bulletin Boards, Chat Rooms, NAF Pen Pal Programs, and other venues for ataxia families to connect with one another. One additional way the Foundation offers ataxia families to connect is through the annual membership meetings. Held in a different geographical location each year, these three day conferences give a comprehensive look at ataxia through experts in the field of ataxia research, genetics, physical therapy, living with ataxia, coping, financial planning, caregiving, and alike. The Foundation attends and participates at a number of medical conferences and Ability Expos throughout the year. In addition, the Foundation sponsors various research symposiums including the NAF Ataxia Investigators Meetings (AIM). On a local level, the Foundation continues to establish NAF Chapters, NAF Support Groups, and NAF Ambassadors throughout the United States, Canada and abroad.

Humanity Welfare Council is the best NPO in India, working towards making India developed by 2030. HWC is working to uplift various sectors and considering various factors to mitigate the issues involved to strengthen the backbone of our nation. Humanity Welfare Council (HWC) is a national level, non-profit organization instituted with the primary mission to make India a developed nation. Headquartered in New Delhi, India, we came into existence in 2017. We are working diligently towards our mission through our various projects and programs. In an age where there were no reliable sources and platforms to get apt solutions for the social issues, we took matters into our hands to help in uplifting our nation as responsible citizens. India, as a nation, still has many challenges to overcome. We must unite our efforts to achieve the goal of a developed country, and this won&s;t be possible unless we have a platform that will guide us and connect us. We believe that our privilege is to serve the nation by pioneering a platform to introduce social justice and social reforms to make India a developed country. On this platform, Indians can connect, discuss and resolve the conflict and find the answer to the complex challenges that obstruct the growth of our nation as a whole. Since our inception, we have constantly been evolving ourselves to match the pace of the changing world and are moving forward towards our goal of a sustainable society. We aim to provide a healthy and happy future to the members of our big family called India through the transformation of the various sectors affecting the growth of our nation as a whole. We aim to make India a developed nation by 2030 under the umbrella of HWC by dealing with the respective sectors affecting India&s;s growth. We promote sustainable systems as the dream of a developed nation stands unachievable without them. Our Mission ”The purpose of human life is to serve, and to show compassion and the will to help others.” ~ Albert Schweitzer Our central mission is to develop India and make India a developed nation by 2030, which is possible by promoting prosperity amongst the general public of India. Therefore, we focus on all the potential indicators to achieve international economic standards, security, safety, demography, and sustainable growth. Our Vision Our vision is to see India as a developed nation and save future generations from the surge of inequality, malnutrition, illiteracy, poverty, and injustice. We want to create a just and progressive country with equal opportunities and guidance for each individual. Our Values We value and respect each individual. We operate in ways that respect the dignity, uniqueness, and intrinsic worth of the poor, the donors, staff and their families, and volunteers. We practice a participating, open, enabling style in working relationships. In addition, we encourage the professional, personal, and spiritual development of our staff. We are committed to the idea of a progressive nation.
