In the early years SelStor opened eight facilities in Stockholm and Mälardalen. In December 2012, the Danish Pelican Self Storage acquired SelStor, thereby it become the second largest self storage operator in the Nordic region. With its 20 facilities, the company is represented in Denmark, Sweden and Finland. Before year end, we expect to have expanded by a further seven sites. Pelican Self Storage was founded in Denmark in 2009 by Nordic Real Estate Partners with capital from M3 Capital Partners in London. The company is led by Claus Mathisen.
