They have a leading position in the fast-growing orthopedic implant market in China, and they are the largest domestic orthopedic implant producer in China and the fifth largest among all orthopedic implant producers in China in terms of sales revenue in each of 2012 and 2013. Shandong Weigao Orthopedic Device Company is also one of the first domestic orthopedic implant producers in China that target the mid to premium orthopedic implant markets. Weigao Ortho sell products primarily under ‘‘Wego Ortho” brand, which is their major brand that enjoys a wide market recognition in mid to premium orthopedic implant, they also sell mid-range and economy segment products under “Yahua” and “JianliBangde” brands. Weigao Ortho has established an extensive network of distributors in China. Their distributors together have an extensive coverage of Class III hospitals, a traditional market for higher end products.
