In The Loop is a growing collective of businesses in the circular economy. It’s a not-for-profit set up by Kate Jackson, Louise Barnard, Andrew Magowan and Charlie Fowler, the team behind circular furniture and home furnishings business.While creating now, sit down, they discovered that very few consumers knew what the circular economy was – which they considered a serious problem given its importance for the future of our planet. They watched as well-known companies got out the greenwash and applied the term ‘sustainability’ to the tiniest of improvements in small parts of their businesses or product ranges, completely breaking the term in the process.
