Description
Employing a proprietary cell bath bioprocess, TuBio explores and describes synthetic microbial communities (SynComs) and their unique metabolomics. Maintaining our biology in closed environments, the bioprocess yields a cell-free chemistry of microbial secondary metabolites (MSMs) with diverse structures, functions and mechanisms. Currently, TuBio is exploring a library of over 150 bioactive MSMs derived from its first-generation SynCom. The MSMs demonstrate significant, broad-spectrum suppression of 11 well-known fungal pathogens negatively impacting global agriculture. TuBio is also constructing a unique cloud-based bioinformatic analysis environment where we integrate &s;omics data, as well as model our dynamic cell-bath process towards the ability for community-level metabolic yield prediction.
