The FoodRoom is the first culinary coworking space of its kind in North America. Launched by Amelie Morency, then founder and owner of an eco-responsible catering service. She faced the hard reality of food business owners who can&s;t afford state of the art kitchen facility. The FoodRoom wants to democratize the food industry by giving access to a professional production kitchen, multipurpose coworking space as well as meaningful events and workshops for growing a food business. The first kitchen opened its door on August 15th, 2016, in Montreal, Canada.
