ThinkBIG Education Technology developed Thebullytracker.com to address the growing problem of cyber and physical bullying using Collect, Connect, Protect, our proprietary framework for integrating multiple sources of information about bullying activity. In the Collect phase, we automatically extract bullying activity from social media sources including Twitter, Instagram, and Reddit, and provide applications for users to report bullying activity through the web, mobile, voice, email, and SMS text. In the Connect phase, we apply data analytics to normalize and enrich bullying data, allowing users to perform real-time queries and define standing alerts to automatically detect and report patterns of bullying activity in a defined area or against one or more individuals.
