TerraNexum is serving geospatial imagery analytics providers and federal agencies with quantum-powered solutions for making faster, more accurate decisions that affect sustainability, security, and resilience. Our patent-pending solution is the Quantum Module (QM). Our first QMs will be designed to enhance the speed and accuracy of image processing steps that require the use of feature selection in a typical workflow, such as orthorectification. At present, these steps are bottlenecks that delay the receipt of timely, actionable information from satellite or aerial flyovers. The expected quantum speedup for orthorectification depends largely on the image size, number of features, and number of computational operations needed, and can range between 2 orders of magnitude (100x) to 7 orders of magnitude. Later QMs will be designed with similar speedups. The demand for near real-time imagery analytics has never been greater, and thus QMs will become essential in meeting our customers&s; scalability needs to service that demand.
