Tech For UK will lobby for a meaningful vote by Parliament or the people on the actual terms of Brexit. We will work closely with Best for Britain, which is a non-political movement containing no politicians. Tech For UK represents many of the most innovative businesses in the UK including Lastminute.com, ticketing startup Masabi, language learning giant Busuu, lending giant Zopa, and small business banking provider Tide, among many others. Tech For UK will: “Engage communities from all over the UK to campaign for a meaningful vote on the terms of Brexit.” Our objective is to strengthen Best for Britain’s digital campaign to fight Brexit, find more supporters and create content and tech solutions to help win the right to a public vote and final say on the terms of Brexit, with the option to Remain. You will have seen the news about The People’s Vote organization. This is led by politicians, so we are not joining this (although the aims are similar).
