STAR is an independent investment fund manager with over €1 billion of equity funds under management. It was established in 2000 to acquire and develop capital assets and capital asset-based businesses, either independently or in partnership with existing owners/industry partners. STAR is looking for the opportunity to invest in capital-intensive corporate activity that has: the ability to generate long-term stable cash flows; a location in Western Europe; an enterprise value in the range of €50 million to €1 billion; and a strategic position. Although we will look at opportunities in most sectors, our key Target Sectors include oil &a; gas, transport, utilities, telecommunications and healthcare. In return STAR can offer access to substantial capital, an experienced investment team supported by specialist industry advisors, a customised approach to structuring transactions to meet your requirements and a rapid response. We are currently investing our second fund and, supported by co-investment from our partners, we can complete deals with enterprise values up to €1 billion
