Our R&a;D efforts led to the success of ShardingSphere, a "platform, pluggable, cloud-native" distributed middleware solution ideal for large-scale data and data value-added applications. Our pioneering "Database Plus" and "Database Mesh" concepts are designed to unlock innovative data usage concepts, improve enterprise data applications, and easily respond to complex data scenarios. Following over 5 years of development, the ShardingSphere project has gained more than 13 thousand GitStars on GitHub, involving over 200 contributors, becoming one of the most popular open source projects. In April 2020, ShardingSphere successfully graduated from the Apache Incubator, and became an Apache Software Foundation Top-Level Project. More recently, ShardingSphere has also been recognized as a Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) Panorama project.
