Solesta is a Dutch solar energy company. The company produces the patented Silverline system, an innovative flexible concept for the generation of solar heat and electricity. The system is easy to install, durable, most cost-effective and compact. This makes it very suitable for existing and new homes. In addition, Solesta is working on new applications in the field of solar energy. The solar energy system from Solesta makes it possible to save 25% to 50% of the annual energy consumption of a household. The Solesta system for DHW heating consists of solar collectors installed on the roof and which convert sunlight into heat. This heat is then stored in a module where a heat exchanger is located to heat the water, after which the water enters the combi boiler. This does not have to deliver less capacity, as a result of which gas consumption and CO2 emissions decrease. The Solesta system can also be expanded later by adding an extra collector or module. In addition, PV solar panels can also be integrated so that electricity can also be generated. The Solesta system has been successfully installed in hundreds of homes. The system was also installed in the Ronald Mc Donald house in Valkenburg, where Minister van der Hoeven of Economic Affairs received the solar water heater. The sale of the solar water heater has also been extended to Germany and Belgium.
