SolarSteam is a hardtech startup developing novel renewable concentrated solar technology that addresses the problem of rising costs and high emissions of heat generation. In the last 18 months, we have attracted over 600k in non-dilutive funding, grew the team to 7 FT employees and we are currently in the construct phase for a field pilot (TRL7) with an industry partner. We are seeking 250k in pre-seed investment to leverage an additional 250k in non-dilutive funding through IRAP, AI and SDTC to support pilot commissioning, capacity testing and commercial deployment efforts with various beachhead adopters.
