Description
The Singapore Tourism Accelerator offers startups and scaleups the opportunity to access Asia&s;s $650B tourism market through commercial partnerships with major industry players like Singapore Airlines, Changi Airport, the famous Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Flyer, Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Sentosa Island, and more. The program targets solutions far beyond travel tech to the vast array of sectors needed to support businesses and consumers in a major international tourist hub, including data analytics/customer insights, AR/VR, martech, IoT, supply chain management, robotics &a; automation, multi-language translation, wayfinding, identity management, and more. Twelve startups will be selected for the three month acceleration period, at which point the top 10 will be invited to pilot with corporate partners for an additional three months. The startups that move on to the next stage will receive funding support of up to 70% of qualifying costs, up to SGD25,000 per company to test their solutions. Startups will also receive a SGD12,000 stipend for the 6-month duration of the program, as well as assistance with temporary relocation (co-living and entrepreneurs&s; visa) to Singapore.
