Seventy Thirty was founded in 2001 by Susie Ambrose, a successful psychotherapist who, at the time, was running her own psychotherapy clinic in London. The inspiration behind Seventy Thirty was first sparked by a client of hers who, after many unlucky encounters in the dating world, put an emphasis on his career over finding love. Determined to help her client find true happiness, Susie spent her evenings delving into research related to the affluent and romance. She discovered that most individuals of this class spent 70 percent of their time working and only 30 percent of their time socialising, meaning there was a large market for an exclusive matchmaking service. Upon securing a match for her client via a newspaper ad, Susie dedicated her time to building Seventy Thirty from the ground-up. Now, 17 years later, Seventy Thirty has seen tremendous success in forging meaningful relationships, and is responsible for the births of over 64 babies as a result.
