Healthcare is undergoing a revolution, known as genomic medicine, that uses the patient’s genomic information to optimise treatment. This trend is accelerating thanks to the arrival of New Generation Sequencing (NGS) techniques that have reduced the cost of decoding genomic material while increasing the amount useful data obtained.
