The S3 group aims to become a global player in developing, building, certifying and operating a suborbital and reusable shuttle for the deployment of small satellites in 2018, a growing market estimated at CHF 50 billion in 2012 and at CHF 230bn. The suborbital shuttle will be carried on the back of an Airbus aircraft. Their satellite launching system is reusable, has a high level of flexibility and safety, and operates at an affordable cost. It furthers their attempts to democratise access to space by enabling emerging markets, developing countries, universities and research institutes to do what has rarely been possible until now: to deploy their own satellites. This is what they mean by Space for All.
