Politiscope, founded in 2018 is a mobile app that aggregates raw, unbiased information about U.S. elected officials and government policies. Founded by Walter Powell (former NFL Athlete) the app is designed to mimic professional athletes’ statistics profiles. Politiscope allows people to easily view politicians’ voting records, read user-friendly bill summaries, and review other non-partisan political information that people need in order to vote in an educated and informed manner. The vision of Politiscope is to provide an accessible tool that helps engage people in the political process through the mobile distribution of clear, unbiased political information. This, ensures an engaged and informed electorate, thereby protecting our nation’s democracy and political process.
