Polisofia is an online platform that allows companies, universities, governmental and non-governmental organizations among other actors to design challenges that are resolved by the community at large using the concept of crowd-sourcing. Polisofia’s value proposal also contemplates the creation of white label branded innovation platforms for individual organizations that are administered and maintained by Polisofia using the concept of SaaS. Thanks to this platform, universities will not only able to create dynamic academic programs by devising internal challenges dealing with different parts of the curriculum but will also be able to allow students and alumni to connect with the public and private sector to solve challenges formulated by these actors. In the private sector, Polisofia allows organizations to discover and reward internal talent to improve processes and design challenges that get their client’s to improve the design and functionality of products. Polisofia can be used in the public sector as a public policy tool, allowing citizens and their representatives in governments to resolve a community’s problem working together. Finally, by using challenges to connect social innovators with NGOs and Social Entrepreneurs, Polisofia creates a new means to accelerate social innovation
