Photography is probably one of the most widespread hobbies and people across the globe enjoy clicking and sharing photos. Photodilse.com, inspired by the likes of flickr is another web based photo sharing platform which allows anyone from an amateur level using a point and shoot camera to a professional using full frame and high end models to share their work. A couple of twenty year olds, Sudeep Samanta and Shailesh Lad pursuing their bachelor’s degree in Life sciences began Photodilse. It started out as a casual thought during a conversation in college canteen after all not every canteen conversation is unproductive. They saw great potential in their idea and received positive response from their photographer friends who agreed to contribute with their photographs. However the agreement didn’t last long and most of them bailed out at the last moment. Having had to start from scratch again, Photodilse finally went live in May 2013. Most photography websites would reject the work of amateurs saying it wouldn’t meet their standards unlike Photodilse who publish the art of enthusiastic and deserving photographers thus providing them an exclusive platform to share their talent at the international level.
