PGE Ventures is a CVC fund within the PGE Capital Group, which was established to invest in startups. The fund will invest in startups connected to energy value chain in order to gain financial and strategic leverage. We offer both the financial support and the know-how transfer in terms of PGE Group’s operations. We understand the needs of young entrepreneurs and we can address them in a professional manner. We are open for cooperation with every startup which meets our investment criteria. Taking into account the possible level of PGE Ventures&s; involvement, as well as startups&s; capabilities to deliver specific solutions, projects will be sought, among others, in the area of: optimization of PGE&s;s operations within entire Group&s;s value chain; energy storage and clean generation technologies, incl. air quality control systems; IT and communication services, such as: Big Data, Smart Home, e-mobility, mobile apps, other products and services; enrichment of energy resources and utilization of combustion by-products. Organizations and foundations: We offer a model of cooperation based on strategic and business partnership. Organizations which can provide a base of startups, pool of experts and promotion channels for the PGE Ventures fund are particularly welcome. Incubators, accelerators and partners: We want to cooperate with incubators and technological accelerators within capability to obtain and improve startups. Startups from our portfolio are then provided with R&a;D infrastructure and substantive care of mature technology partners. VC funds: PGE Ventures fund does not exclude co-investments with other VC funds operating on Polish and foreign market. All potential co-investments will be analyzed in detail. Decisions on their implementation will be taken by the PGE Ventures Management Board. PGE Ventures invites to cooperation especially entrepreneurs, whose innovative projects have a chance to transform into profitable businesses. As part of our scouting program, we will strive to work with as many quality startups as we can.
