By creating a patchwork, people get to share an idea for a special gift or experience so friends and family can see the plan and choose how to help make it happen. Users can choose to customise a patchwork template or start one from scratch – just like putting together a Pinterest board. Except with Patchwork you can assign an action to each image, so friends and family can see what they are being asked to fund, make or do. Funds given via Patchwork go direct to the creator’s Stripe or PayPal account, for them to spend when and where they like. Patchwork is fully independent and not attached to any retailers.
