Nimbits Server is the core - it provides REST web services for logging and retrieving time and geo stamped data (such as a reading from a temperature sensor). Nimbits server runs on powerful cloud platforms like Google App Engine to the smallest Raspberry Pi device. Nimbits Servers records your incoming data and each new value triggers an event like an alert, a calculation, statistic, or message. Newly calculated values can be automatically recorded to another channel, with more and more cascading triggers and computations.
