If you&s;re like me, you get bored listening to the same ringtone over and over again. You also probably get annoyed when someone calls you because it&s;s your mom or something similarly unimportant that your phone rings every day. Well here are some tips on how to make downloaded mp3 songs into ringtones for free (or close to it) and also how to assign them to certain callers. First, you need a media player that supports .mp3 files such as Windows Media Player or RealPlayer (some mp3 players may support other file formats but I haven&s;t tested it yet so I can&s;t say for sure). Open your media player and click on "Rip" under the Play menu. ("Rip" is another way of saying "download" in this case.) Then load up any song you want and go back to the Play menu and choose "Convert Selection To".
