Localbookmark.it is an online social utility that allows users to bookmark their favorite local businesses in the US. Members are given a vanity URL that lists all of the businesses that they&s;ve bookmarked for quick access, like an online business rolodex. The site currently has over 10 million business listings, and business owners who are not currently listed can add their business to the directory for free. Local merchants can also &s;claim&s; their business so they can upload images, videos, operating hours, coupons and a full business description. Users can also connect their Twitter and Facebook accounts, so that each time they bookmark or review a business, a status update is sent to their friends, informing them of their favorite or least favorite local establishments.
