Kegstand builds kegs that are 40% lighter than the current industry leading standard. With lighter kegs, brewers can reduce injuries due to handling kegs, lower distribution costs, and reduce their carbon footprint. Our kegs are the worlds first COPV (Composite Overwrapped Pressure Vessel) kegs. COPV has been used for decades in the aerospace industry and for firefighter&s;s air tanks. Both of these industries utilize COPVs because of their reduced weight and durability. Usage of kegs extends past beer and into other beverages such as nitro brew coffee and wine.
