The company was started by several college students from Arizona State University, University of Washington, and Tulane. The purpose of the site was to create an interactive community which would write about an array of topics ranging from entertainment to politics. Criticisms: ITHP has been criticized frequently for placing advertisements from corporations. Originally ITHP took a radical stance that opposed corporate America.
