Its model allows users to get the best deals on rides and other mobility services. inDriver&s;s proposition is that passengers determine the price of the trip rather than algorithms. The passenger inputs the amount he or she is willing to pay for the trip, while nearby drivers can choose to accept or ignore the request, or offer a different price. inDriver’s app also offers intercity, cargo and freight, as well as delivery services. inDriver started as a response to a cartel of taxis in the northern city of Yakutsk doubling their fares when temperatures fell to freezing levels.
