Description
Hypetrax is a mobile-first music sharing platform. Hypetrax lets users share music in a non-traditional way; rather than sending links, or sharing full mp3s, Hypetrax lets users trim and share music right from their mobile devices. Users pick a song from their library, trim it, add a message, and send it to their friends. When their friends receive the "hypetrack" they can listen to the trimmed track only once, after which it cannot be played. The idea for Hypetrax was hatched at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
