More and more people in Berlin and Brandenburg are not bound to one denomination. At the same time, the desire for a worldly view of life is growing. Humanistischer Verband makes it easy for everyone who does not believe in a God to determine their own life through humanistic values. The association sees itself as representing the interests of religion-free people. As a worldview community, it is equal to the churches according to the Basic Law. The association is responsible for a wide range of social, cultural and educational offers in Berlin and Brandenburg. His fields of work range from education and lecture work, festive and celebration culture, child and youth work, life science classes, health and social services, living wills to death support and help for relatives. With more than 1,200 full-time employees and just as many volunteers, the association provides support, advice and help, regardless of ethnic origin, nationality, gender or belief. Values ​​such as self-determination, solidarity and tolerance are practically implemented in a large number of projects at the Humanistic Association Berlin-Brandenburg.
