Quill is a collaborative drawing app for teams. Our iPad-based application is focused on creating a better experience for capturing and sharing ideas through drawings. Currently we are forced to snap pictures of whiteboards, sketch designs in notebooks, and scribble ideas on napkins. Quill offers a collaboration tool that empowers teammates to not only share a canvas and draw together in real-time, but also work asynchronously to communicate and iterate, regardless of whether they’re in the same room or same country. We’re focused on creating a tool that helps at the beginning of the ideation phase and then simply integrates with existing workflows, be it exporting sketches to Slack, providing images that can be the foundation for wireframes, or just help sparks of ideas become tangible. Quill is reinventing visual brainstorming and communication for teams in the same way that Google Docs evolved the word processor.
