Fire Avert helps protect homes from the cause of stove fires in unattended cooking by automatically disconnecting power to the range or stove in the event that fire or smoke are detected. It activates in response to the audible signal of an existing smoke detector that ensures reliability and minimizes false alarms. It also prevents stove fires by simply cutting power to the stove when it is left on. It is an auto safety stove shut off device that responds to smoke detectors in houses. Fire Avert is a U.S.-based company that was founded in 2011 by Michael Sanders.
