Endangered Wildlife OÜ is an Estonian ESG #Tech4Good developing the Biodiversity Valuator, a software solution that calculates the financial value of individual species of biodiversity in specific locations. As ESG and biodiversity awareness becomes more pertinent and reporting requirements evolve, corporates and investors need to be able to trace, measure, report and allocate their resources in a way that maximises their impact and transparency. The market needs a way to bridge conservation and finance by using a common language that all stakeholders understand and that can simplify how biodiversity is reported. But until now there has been no such solution for biodiversity. The Biodiversity Valuator is the first ML-supported financial valuation software for biodiversity, which allows for the calculation of a financial value for individual species in specific locations. The Biodiversity Valuator takes sustainability reporting to a new level by calculating an easily understandable biodiversity impact with real value that allows biodiversity to be integrated directly into decisions. It directly solves the challenge relating to how to incorporate biodiversity into the strategic and investment decision making process, and how investors and companies can report on biodiversity impact in a simple and understandable manner without the need for expert knowledge. In 2021, our CEO was an active speaker at the Natural Capital Summit, the Reuters Sustainable Finance and Reporting event, and Collision.
