DelSuper is an e-commerce that takes home grocery shopping in less than an hour. Eva Corcia, Juan Rivero, and Alberto Benbunan launched the platform in 2014 and has now consolidated, reaching a market share of over 70%. The startup has experienced record growth thanks to its modus operandi: to serve as logistic support to the usual supermarkets, with which the consumer has full confidence in the origin of the products purchased; In addition to its commitment to deliver with the customer with periods of one hour. The procedure stands out for its simplicity and personalization of the service. Through its website, the user can select any of the products of El Corte Inglés, Día, Mercadona, Lidl or Carrefour. Once the purchase is made, the algorithms created by DelSuper and the geolocation act according to the information of the user, which passes to the figure of the SuperComprador. In 90% of the cases they are housewives, cooks and former Supermarket workers, so the quality of the selected products will be maximum. These Super Buyers personally select each product and maintain direct contact with the customer. In case they consider that the product does not have an optimal quality (such as fresh fish), they will call or send a whatsapp to the customer to assess between the two if it is worth buying the product or replacing it with another similar one. In addition, the platform allows that in case the customer has forgotten to add any other product, they can contact their Super Buyer to add it. For this personalized attention, the purchase is not charged in full at the time of ordering it on the page, but a part of it is charged and the payment is completed once the order is completed. DelSuper has had the support of accelerators such as Telefonica open future and Wayra, and has earned the trust of experienced investors such as Felix Ruiz Hernandez or Gustavo Garcia Brusilovsky, among others. At the moment the company has convened two rounds of investment and has 36,000 users in Spain, the only market in which it operates.
