Clintu is an online marketplace for cleaning in private homes that offers total flexibility, experienced cleaners, and security. The startup was created in 2014 by Alex Espeland offers cleaning and ironing services for hours seven days a week. In addition, with only 18 hours in advance, users can make the reservation in three simple steps through the website. The people who work through Clintu are people with experience in household chores and with good assessments of the work they are doing. The project began with an initial capital of 10,000 euros, although they soon made an investment round with family, friends and some Business Angels, which reached 100,000 euros. The company has also benefited from an ENISA loan and another from the ICF. Recently, Clintu has absorbed the GetYourHero business to complement the office services part.
