Buono is a mobile payment startup removing friction from the dining out experience through tailored-self checkout flows and equipping hospitality venues with omnichannel capabilities previously only accessible to big chains. Buono users can order for collection or directly to their table by scanning a QR code. They can then pay at their own pace and obtain cashback for every purchase through our app. Restaurants process orders &a; payments from one streamlined platform, set cashback campaigns and gather rich insights about their business through our data analytics dashboard. Our Restaurant Panel can be accessed from any device. There is no extra hardware needed. Buono is built on the most innovative payment rails, ensuring that restaurants have access to a wide-variety of payment methods so they can cater to all types of clientele (domestic &a; international) and be charged low &a; transparent transaction fees and focus on what they do best. We believe that mobile payments should be more than just payments. We want to utilise all capabilities of the smartphone to facilitate peoples&s; interaction with the places they love &a; empower all venues with features that will put them on the same playing field as the big restaurant and pub chains. Our desire is to help the new generation of users to reclaim the time &a; effort wasted on 20th Century problems such as queueing or having to wait for someone to come with a pin &a; chip machine to make a payment. Our early studies showed that Buono users can cut their typical waiting time at their favourite venues by 20 mins through our self-checkout solution. If you add to this our click&a;collect feature, which allows to skip queues by pre-ordering the desired items, that could result in 1,248 hours saved that people would normally spend queuing over their lifetime.
