Build Block Inc. is an online real estate investment platform targeting Asian investors who wish to invest in US real estate. Founded in 2018, the company’s goal is to lower the entry barrier of individual investors who have no credible intermediary to facilitate overseas investment. We have found a problem with existing overseas investment where individuals are faced with cumbersome paperwork, no credible partner, and lack of transparency. Combined with the most up-to-date technology, we will select, monitor, and sell suitable properties that meet the preferences of our customers. The customers can seek our help for both short-term FLIP and ADU models or a long-term investment model. Our business model consists of a service fee (bigger value of $5,000 or 2% of total investment) and 50% of profit-sharing, or 10% of monthly income for long-term investors. We have two offices, both in Korea and in the United States, where the Korean office is mainly responsible for attracting customers, and the US office will oversee construction and property searches. We expect even more further growth in the coming years. Our plan is to expand the investment region beyond California and also expand our customer base globally.
