BookMaid is used textbook trading application exclusive to Rochester Institute of Technology students. BookMaid was originally named RITBook, but after RIT threated legal action upon the creator of RITBook, Dan Leveille, the name was forced to be changed. This was due to alleged "trademark infringement" of the institute&s;s trademark "RIT." BookMaid has been exhibited at Imagine RIT: Innovation and Creativity Festival in both 2008 and 2009.
