Arbutus Medical’s purpose is to develop a portfolio of “frugal innovation” devices that save costs for hospitals and improve access to orthopedic surgery for 5 million patients by 2030. Arbutus Medical&s;s flagship product is a radically affordable orthopaedic power tool system that is used in North American Trauma Centers, veterinary hospitals, military deployments, NGO missions, and hospitals in over 30 low- and middle-income countries worldwide.
