Our History Alpha Dealing has been grown from the concept that not only the largest Investment Managers should have the best Traders or the capacity to handle multiple orders simultaneously. The costs associated in having a good quality trader are often prohibitory for many growing funds. Additionally, when ‘unbundling’ total commission, there is still a misconception that execution accounts for a higher proportion than it actually should. The fixed costs alone of trading platforms, Bloomberg terminals, live market data and system license fees are often too excessive for an investment manager, and that is before you have even executed one trade. There is a clear demand for an outsourced trading solution. Currently, the only services available are effectively Interdealer Brokers operating under different facades. Their charging structure involves the investment manager paying a commission for each trade. Alpha Dealing is the industry’s first fixed fee trading desk, where actual trading numbers/volumes carry no additional variable costs.
