Leveraging a proprietary material platform and a team of talented engineers, we build custom molecules to meet mechanical, safety, or stimuli-responsive criteria. Founded in 2016, we originally applied these materials to sustained ocular drug delivery, but the technology has taken on a life of its own in a pipeline that ranges from biomedical to consumer products. Humidifeye, our patient-adaptable treatment for Dry Eye Disease, will be the first of many best-in-class therapies. Offering improved comfort and safety in form that drastically cuts clinic time, Humidifeye brings an innovative solution to a market expected to surpass $5 Billion by 2024 with a CAGR of 6.5%. This will be the first of many breakthrough technologies. Led by Niki Bayat, one of MIT TR’s 35 innovators under 35, AesculaTech has grown from a founding pair of USC Chemical Engineers into a dedicated team with experience in medical devices, organic chemistry, pharmaceuticals, industrial materials, medicine, and other advanced fields. As graduates of renowned accelerators YCombinator and TMCx, our work is also guided by a powerhouse cast of advisors in chemical engineering, medicine, and entrepreneurship.
