Description
Addinex is preventing medication addiction and misuse. Our patented dispenser, mobile app, easy disposal, and data address key drivers of the opioid crisis: over-prescription, overuse, and lack of disposal. We offer a low-cost medication dispensing system to reduce the risks of misuse and addiction. A Columbia University study of patients undergoing major cancer surgery showed that our system resulted in 70% fewer pills taken vs CDC guidelines, 67% fewer refills, and an 84% disposal rate of excess pills vs &l;10% in other studies. The CDC has awarded Addinex a grant to adapt our system for addiction treatment medications and our system was named a “World Changing Idea” by Fast Company magazine.
