Addem Labs is a smart materials company that empowers users to use light from phone or laptop screens as a source of energy to etch Copper patterns in minutes. Their product is almost like a polaroid film – all you need to do is place the film on a digital screen with the design and hold for about 5 minutes; the design will get transferred to their film and peeling a top layer will reveal the Copper pattern. And - it&s;s flexible. Varun, the CTO of Addem labs, will be hosting a session with a beta version of the product. Using the film, Varun will build a capacitive sensor interfaced with an Arduino. After the demo, attendees can use the film to create anything they’d like. Varun will also hand out sample designs of sensors and circuit boards for the attendees to create.
