Academia de Código provides courses and training on coding for adults and children. They provide are born from the realization of a contemporary paradox: on the one hand, a highly qualified unemployment rate, and on the other hand, the huge supply of employment in the IT fields, with more than 8,000 unfilled jobs in Portugal. We believe that knowing how to read and write code gives some work, gives even more employment. We have a mission: to reprogram lives by teaching code. And as we do not look at the means to eradicate the ends, we will attack this endemic national digital illiteracy by recruiting brilliant minds, who did not find placement in their respective areas of formation, transforming them - during 14 weeks of intense immersion in the purest and hardest code nurture - of courageous &l;Code Cadets&g; in certain &l;Padawan Junior Developers&g;. We want, by 2020, to requalify and allocate 10.
